Water Bottle Refill Stations

In 2012, Americans generated 32 million tons of plastic as municipal solid waste, and less than 9% of it was recycled. To help reduce the amount of plastic being generated, OSU’s Office of Sustainability encourages you to use a durable, reusable water bottle instead of a disposable plastic water bottle. There are several locations across campus where you can refill your bottle with fresh, clean water. Not only will using a reusable water bottle save you money, it will also help keep disposable plastic bottles out of the landfill.

Water Bottle Refill Locations

There are 64 water bottle refill stations located around campus equipped with filters and spigots that make it easy to refill your water bottle. However, there are even more water fountains than that located across campus where you can fill up your water bottles as well!

The first five water bottle refill stations on campus were made possible thanks to Net Impact and their winning Green Student Initiative proposal in Spring 2012. Is there a water bottle refill staton that we missed on this list? Let us know so we can add its location; email sustainability@okstate.edu
